Marie Davis - VP of Strategic Growth & Fundraising

Marie Davis brings a lifelong connection to swimming, a passion for community involvement, and a strong background in business, technology, and entrepreneurship to the Just Swim board.  Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Marie grew up participating in competitive swimming with YMCA Berkeley, St. Andrews through the Charleston Aquatic Association, Bishop England High School, and SMRT USA Swimming. She also played basketball, developing an early appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

After graduating from college in Charlotte in 2012, Marie built a diverse career spanning finance and accounting at Marriott International, product management at Evention, and entrepreneurship as co-founder of Our Day, Inc., a marketplace for weddings and events. She later founded Product Bestie, providing fractional consulting services to startups. Today, Marie serves as Senior Product Manager of Digital Retail Experiences at Circle K, where she brings her expertise in product strategy, innovation, and customer experience.  Beyond her professional career, Marie is passionate about health, wellness, and fitness. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level (RYT 500), a certified spin and HIIT instructor, and a certified swim instructor with experience across multiple programs.

As a member of the Just Swim board, Marie contributes her strategic thinking, entrepreneurial perspective, and commitment to helping young people build confidence and develop lifelong skills through swimming. As a mom to her daughter, Rosie, she understands the value of creating supportive opportunities for children and families in the community.

Marie is excited to help Just Swim grow its impact and make swimming more accessible to youth throughout the Charlotte community.
